Give thanks to the League

As we near the end of our 80th anniversary year, it's a good time to reflect on the value of the League in our community. Voter Service is the core of our mission and we help thousands of local voters during election seasons become better prepared to make their voting decisions with nonpartisan educational programs. We also register voters and remind voters that their vote absolutely makes a difference. We are proud of this work and of the other events and advocacy efforts the League provides to the communities we serve.

Our work primarily relies on the time and talents of our volunteers, but we also need financial resources. Only 20% of your membership dues comes to our League; the remainder is split between national and state. I would like you to consider making a donation to our local League (LWV San Jose/Santa Clara) as a much-appreciated way to give thanks to the League and all that it does. We are a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization, so your donation is tax deductible. You can make your donation online through a secure portal using a credit card or PayPal, or you can mail a check. Information on both options is available at lwvsjsc.org/donate.

Thank you for supporting the League in whatever way you can.

With gratitude,

Diane

Diane McNutt, President

League of Women Voters of San Jose/Santa Clara

Reminder: All League members are invited to attend the monthly Board business meetings, usually held on Zoom on the first Thursday of the month. If you would like to attend, contact me for agenda, time and link information.
